„Weisst Du noch?“ ist während des Corona-Lockdowns 2020 entstanden. Statt uns in unserem Studio in einem einsam gelegenen Bauernhaus in den Vogesen zu treffen, mussten wir zu Hause bleiben und die jeweiligen Parts alleine im Wohnzimmer in Basel beziehungsweise Konstanz einspielen. In dem Song, den Danny geschrieben hat, schwingt die verrückte Zeit des Lockdowns mit, die Sehnsucht raus zu gehen, Freunde zu treffen, nach Meer, Italien und Roadtrips in fernen Ländern. Keine gemeinsamen Proben, kein Jammen – keine Abende, um zusammen zu kochen und Bier zu trinken – während des Corona-Lockdowns war alles anders.
THE GUERILLA BOPS schmieden zur Zeit Ideen für ihre neue Show „Life on Planet Bop“. Durch die Kombination von Musik, Puppen- und Schattenspiel, Schauspiel, Lautmalereien, Storytelling und visuellen Elementen soll ein performatives Live-Happening, ein Erlebnisraum mit ureigener Erzählkraft entstehen.

“Weißt Du noch?” (Do you remember?) originated in the Corona-Lockdown of 2020. Instead of being able to meet in our studio in a remote barn in the mountains of the Vosges, we had to stay home in our own apartments in Basel and Konstanz. The song, written by Danny, resonates with the crazy time of the lockdown - the longing to go outside, to meet friends, to take road trips to the sea, Italy and other countries. No live rehearsals, no jamming - no evenings cooking and drinking beer together - during the Corona-Lockdown, everything was different.
THE GUERILLA BOPS are currently gathering ideas for their new show "Life on Planet Bop". Combining music, puppetry, shadow play, storytelling and visual elements, they want to create a unique performative live-happening.
